DESCRIPTION

The ODU AMC with Break-Away function was designed for connections that can be mated or demated in seconds, even under field conditions. One pull on the cable is enough to demate the connection. And naturally the plug can be mated again just as quickly.

DESCRIPTION

From medical technology to consumer electronics to automotive technology: the trend toward miniaturization continues. High-Density connectors provide the highest possible number of contacts in the most compact space. It gives developers new possibilities and solutions while simultaneously challenging the manufacturer. Because the connectors’ reliability and electrical and mechanical robustness must remain intact in spite of the compact size.

 

With a diameter of less than 10 mm to 18.5 mm and a contact density of up to 40 contacts, the ODU AMC High-Density series proves that premium quality can also come in small packages. In addition to the High-Density signal connector, the range also includes versions for "Power" (up to 15 A) and "Data Transfer" (USB® 3.1 Gen11 with 5A power) in the most compact space.

ODU MINI-SNAP®

 

ODU MINI-SNAP is an ideal self-securing circular connection for a multitude of application areas. Whether for transferring power, signals, data or even media – this circular connector in a robust metal housing offers great long-term quality, reliability and functionality.

 

The Push-Pull principle reliably ensures that the connection never releases until you want it to: once mated, the ODU MINI-SNAP locks itself into the receptacle. It can no longer be separated by just pulling on the cable. The plug can, however, easily be de-mated from the receptacle when the outer sleeve is pulled back.

 

The ODU MINI-SNAP is available in a wide range of sizes and designs. You can also choose from three basic codings.

Thanks to its distinctive coding options, the ODU MEDI-SNAP guarantees over 2,000 mating cycles. The efficient plastic connector is available both with user-friendly Push-Pull locking and the easy-to-release Break-Away function, which comes as a premolded plug & play solution.

 

The ODU MEDI-SNAP is suitable for use in medical technology, industrial electronics, and digital measurement and testing applications.
